Effective date: set on launch day

These terms are an agreement between you and legal business name ("Duetile", "we"). By installing or using Duetile you agree to them.

What you get

When you buy Duetile you get a licence to use the Mac app and its Chrome add-on for your own personal study. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You may install it on number Macs that you use yourself.

You may not resell it, share your licence key, or take it apart to copy it.

Duetile is a helper, not the record

Canvas and your teachers are the official source for due dates, grades and course rules. Duetile reads them and can get things wrong: a date can be misread, a class can be set up in an unusual way, or your school can change something. Grade projections are estimates. Always confirm anything that matters in Canvas or with your teacher. We are not responsible for missed deadlines or grades.

Your school

Duetile is independent. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Instructure or by any school. It reads only what your own login already shows you. You are responsible for following your school's rules, and you should not use Duetile with an account that is not yours.

Refunds

Refund promise, for example: if Duetile does not work with your school, write to us within 14 days of buying for a full refund.

Updates and support

We may release updates and we will try to help if you write to help@duetile.com. Canvas can change in ways that break Duetile, and we cannot promise it will always work with every school.

No warranty

Duetile is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Duetile is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, including missed deadlines, lost grades or lost data.

Ending

You can stop using Duetile at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of state, United States.

Changes

If these terms change, we will post the new version here with a new date.
